The summer of 2010 has been an amazing season for Knot A Breast. We've raced in Kelso, Peterborough (see below), Hamilton, Woodstock and London. We are looking forward, still, to Toronto and Christie. It has been a year of unprecedented successes but also of tremendous losses. The highs of the wins always dampened by the loss of our dear friends and team mates. As a team, we've met the challenge of competition head on but individually some of us continue to battle the reality that is cancer. If emotion could be seen as colour, 2010 would be prismatic for those of us lucky enough to be part of Knot A Breast.

The 2010 International Participatory Dragon Boat Festival was held from June 11th to 13th. 73 teams from around the world got to know each other in a series of work shops, ceremonies, social events and, yes, races! Thousands of breast cancer survivors from Australia, Canada, England, Italy, South Africa and the United States of America met in an effort to promote awareness of breast cancer and encourage survivors to join us in our chosen sport.
